Most SMB leaders are beaten down. Either by compliance horror stories designed to scare them into buying things they don't need, or by watching money disappear into IT solutions nobody fully understands, while their MSP sells them yet another backup service that somehow costs twice as much as the last one.

This site exists to give that power back. No courses to sell, no vendors to please. Just the ponytail guy you never wanted but apparently need.

I'm Roland. Although I traded the ponytail for a goatee, I am a "local IT guy". I am the Head of IT at the Black Night Film Festival. Also known as PÖFF. I'm also a board member at the Estonian Information Systems Auditors Union. And I also run my own small business.

I know the headaches IT can cause. This has been my career for the past 15 years. This has motivated me to create this website. I will be honest and direct, so here is the apology up front. I will occasionally swear, disagree with your vendor, and tell you things you might not want to hear. I am sorry. But it will be constructive - this I promise!
